Clinical Supervision for LMSWs
Supervision at Connected Journeys Counseling & Consulting is designed to be more than a licensure requirement. It is a reflective, growth-focused space where emerging clinicians can strengthen their clinical skills, deepen ethical decision-making, and anchor their professional identity.
My approach to supervision integrates clinical development, cultural humility, documentation quality, and real-world practice realities. Supervisees are supported with both compassion and accountability as they grow into confident, ethical practitioners.
Supervision Philosophy
I believe effective supervision should feel:
Grounded – Rooted in ethics, clinical competence, and professional integrity
Reflective – Creating space for curiosity, growth, and self-awareness
Supportive – Encouraging confidence while honoring vulnerability
Practical – Offering tools you can immediately apply in your work
Supervision is not about perfection. It is about development, critical thinking, and building a sustainable clinical identity.
